About Us

Byanjona Foundation is a feminist organization working to confront inequality and discrimination across Bangladesh’s social, political, economic, and cultural life. We focus on how power operates within everyday systems and institutions, and how these structures produce exclusion, harm, and unequal access to rights and resources.

Our work engages with communities most affected by gendered and structural injustice, including those marginalized by gender identity, sexuality, class, caste, race, religion, language, age, disability, and migration status. Byanjona Foundation challenges hetero-patriarchal norms, discriminatory practices, and institutional failures that shape people’s lives and restrict dignity and safety.

Through advocacy, research, public dialogue, and community-based initiatives, we work to raise awareness, push for accountability, and support collective responses to injustice. Our approach emphasizes solidarity, care, and sustained engagement, recognizing that feminist change requires persistence, pressure, and collective action.

Byanjona Foundation is committed to building a more just and equitable society by confronting discrimination, resisting violence and exclusion, and advancing feminist movements that demand accountability and systemic change.
